Who we are

Kabooly Marketing is provided by KABOOLY LTD, a company registered in the United Kingdom. We are the data controller for the information described below. You can reach us at privacy@kabooly.com.

Information we collect

Your account

• Your email address and, if you register with a password, a secure hash of that password
• Whether your email address has been verified
• If you sign in with Google, your Google account email address and basic profile details
• Session records, including the time of sign in, your IP address and your browser's user agent

Your business profile

• Business name, a description of what your business does, and your website address
• Who your customers are and the area you cover
• Your tone of voice and your list of services or products
• Your brand colours and the logo you upload or accept

What the tool produces

• The advert topics, advert text, images, carousel slides and videos generated for you, and any edits you make
• Photos you upload to turn into posts. The photo itself is deleted once its post is made; the sized images made from it are kept with the post
• Counts of how many images and videos you have generated, so we can apply the usage limits

Reading your website

If you give us your website address, our server fetches that page, up to two more of its pages that describe your business (such as an About or Services page) and its stylesheets. It uses them to fill in your business details, brand colours and logo, and sends the words on those pages to Anthropic to read your details from them. We only read pages that are already public, we only do it when you ask, and we keep only what ends up in your profile and a copy of the logo image.

How we use your information

• To create and secure your account, and to verify your email address
• To write advert text and generate advert images, carousel slides and videos from your business profile
• To crop photos you upload to each platform's size and add your logo
• To save your adverts to your library so you can copy and download them later
• To apply the daily, monthly and per minute limits that keep the service fair and affordable
• To keep the service working, including error logs

We do not sell your information, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not use your business profile or your adverts to train our own models.

Who processes your information

We use a small number of providers to run the service:

• Cloudflare: hosting, database, file storage, cropping and branding the photos you upload, and the emails that carry your sign in links and codes. Photos you upload are handled only by Cloudflare
• Anthropic: the Claude model that writes your advert text and carousel slides, suggests topics and reads your website to fill in your profile. Your business profile and topic, or the words from your website, are sent with each request
• Google: the Gemini models that generate your advert images and videos, and Google sign in if you use it. Your prompt and, where you have one, your logo are sent with each request. We ask Google not to store image requests. A video takes several minutes to make, so Google holds that request and the video until it is ready; we delete them from Google as soon as the video is saved

These providers process data on our instructions. Processing may take place outside the United Kingdom, in which case appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses apply.

How long we keep it

Your account, business profile and adverts are kept until they are deleted. You can delete any advert, along with its images, slides and video, from its page in your library. To delete your whole account, email privacy@kabooly.com and we will remove your profile, every advert, image and video, and cancel your subscription.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access your information, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to receive a copy in a portable form. Email privacy@kabooly.com to exercise any of these. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

Cookies

Kabooly Marketing sets one cookie, which keeps you signed in. There are no advertising or tracking cookies in the tool.

Changes to this privacy policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the "Last updated" date.
